Regard

Ever wonder why you are irate about something trivial that someone else did like ignore you or chide you or overspeak you at the expense of being rude to you. Regard may be the answer.  We crave regard because it indicates to us that we have some power over our lives and surroundings and belongings. When someon disregards you they are saying I do not respect you therefore your concerns are not held highly by me. Ever notice how people with money even when idiotic get quite a bit of regard as do bosses even when they act completely irrationally. Maybe they even get a little high knowing how stupidly they are acting and that because of their "Regard" you have to treat them with respect. (if you value your  job, your house, insert whatever here. People regard money and influence over others. Unfortunately in today's world to get the Regard you may feel you should have you must get money or influence over others.
